Working on our Web Design assignment was different because I’ve only made a website once for a history project back in middle school, but I used Weebly for both times. I actually really enjoyed making and designing it because there were so many features to try out again. Diigo works really well in sharing new or different ideas/views about any topic, including education. It can be very useful in classrooms because as a teacher you can create and host groups for your students in discussing ideas in a unique way, such as for class discussions and debates. With team members, it is good for collaboration in letting others know what you have found that can improve teaching methods. Or talk over the many educational issues that exist and see what new research may be available. For just individual pursuits, Diigo is a place that you can connect with others, not just from your school which helps to build a wider range of communication with other educators in the world.

InformED is a blog website that is mostly education-focused. It features different categories, such as teaching and learning strategies, that informs general people and not just educators about academic findings. This specific article is about technological trends in 2020 and beyond, where it talks about the use of AI programs in schools already. It also highlights collaborative technology and mentions specifically using blogs and wikis, like what we’ve done in the class.
